Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Golf Industry Show in San Diego. This is an annual trade show and conference that brings together superintendents, vendors, architects, professors, and various luminaries of our industry. It has truly turned into an international event, and I was surprised how may superintendents were in attendance from around the globe. The educational portion is invaluable. I was able to choose from a multitude of classes that directly related to issues and concerns here at HCC. The education and information I came back with will directly help our department improve the playing conditions and health of our turf.
