Friday we finally got around to moving a few trees around the course. The trees we decided to move were picked either for their playability or aesthetic location. For example, a Sawtooth Oak was planted a couple feet off the left side of the third fairway. Its location blocked out second shots to the green after a drive that just missed the fairway. It also took away the view of the left green side bunker and the entire left side of the green. Trees always provide everyone with opinions. Which to move, take down, replace, etc. A thought to keep in mind. Everywhere on the course we're making positive changes and not just talking about what we could do. Moving some trees is a part of those changes.
