A big change this year was delaying our fall greens aerification until late October. One big positive was providing excellent putting conditions throughout September and October. Performing this practice so late in the year does bring some potential drawbacks. The largest being that the greens will not heal until next spring. It is possible, but I am an optimist. We have given the turf the right amount of food, and now we are waiting for sunshine and soil temperatures to stay up a bit.
