The Men's Member/Guest was extremely successful! A big thank you to our staff for producing outstanding conditions and to our members and their guests for their kind complements.
Please remember that tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday the golf course will be closed. Each July our departments takes two days to perform numerous projects and cultural practices to the golf course, primarily greens, tees, and fairways. A few items to be completed this year are;
Needle tine, topdress, and fertilize greens and tees
Topdress new sod areas
Spraying herbicides and a growth regulator to bunker faces and the Clubhouse turf
Moving fairways lines on holes, 10, 12 and 18
Cutting down native grasses at the practice area
Applying and organic fertilizer to fairways and approaches
We really appreciate the support of the Club allowing us these two important days. These two days will allow us to ready the course to withstand the stresses of the remainder of the season.
