Sometimes you find something that you know has a back story, but you'll never know it. The bridge on #5, that failed and was recently replaced, had great rock work on the sides and we wanted to save the rock for a future project. The walls of the bridge were removed and brought back to our shop in large sections. Frosty morning have allowed us time to chisel the concrete from the rock. A couple of days ago one of our staff members walked into the shop with the pair of glasses below. He had found them buried in concrete. I wonder how long the person building the bridge went looking for these glasses before finally giving up?
